What does life look like on Fridays?

Although we all choose our own curriculum every other day of the week, Fridays we come together to participate in all sorts of classes and activities. We meet on Fridays starting in September and finish in May. We have fall, winter, & spring terms. Each term is broken in to six normal class weeks, not necessarily six weeks in a row. Between regular classes we have field-trips, activity days, and breaks.

A normal class day looks like this: 

All Students: 
Announcements/Chatting with Chase: 9:00 - 9:30
Class #1: 9:30 - 10:30
Recess/Break: 10:30 - 11:00
Class #2: 11:00 - 12:00
Musical Theater Class Only: 1:00 - 4:00

For the elementary ages, our classes are grouped:
Nursery 
Pre-K
Kinder/1st
2nd/3rd
4th
5th
These ages will be given a class schedule at the beginning of the program year and do not get to choose which classes they are in.

Middleschool and Highschool ages are all mixed together. They have several class options to choose from for each class hour every term. They will be given a signup at the beginning of the program year.

As parents we are required to meaningfully contribute to the group by volunteering our time. At the beginning of the program year, a signup will be sent out allowing each family to volunteer on various teams. Parents/guardians can choose to be a part of many teams including: class teams, event teams, theater teams, and production teams.
